The Food Engineers impact:
Well ... as I have mentioned in previous blogs and in the title, I am a Food Engineering student, a career not very well known unfortunately, but with great potential for everyone.

As many may already know, food engineering is not only related to the kitchen issue, it is much more than that, the career as such can have enormous contributions both in the market, in innovation and also in the health of the People. I say this since Food Engineering, like all sciences, focuses on the problems of society to be able to find solutions (in each of its areas, respectively), as for example, there are many health problems in Chile . Here the role of a nutritionist would be to guide you to a much healthier eating habit, well, here the role of an Food Engineer consists of researching, proposing, designing and creating products that reach the consumer and that can make it a much healthier person, this also contributes to the market, since having a novel and also eye-catching product will increase the company's income. Also our role can be focused on the architectural field, that is, in the construction of plants and factories specialized in food production (hence the name "Engineering in ..."), this is a very important part as for the safety of the products, since it must generate security at the time of production. These factories must comply with many standards to be approved in terms of quality controls, and in addition to providing security, they must have performance, so that the company's economy is always increasing.Ending this blog, in the future, I visualize myself as a professional exercising my career, specializing in the area of quality control, others could also be: in research centers, Industries and engineering and also in business management.
I think that your career is not given the weight it should have, in the future it will be very important in things such as food shortages.
